    Hi Tia,
Just wanted to tell you that I tried your waffle recipe yesterday morning and they are a hit! Much tastier than the last batch we made. The only thing I had a problem with is when I would open the waffle maker, the waffles would split in half! Do you spray your iron with any thing? I didn’t have that problem last time so maybe I didn’t put in enough buttermilk or vice versa? Thanks again!

    Tia,
I don’t get to read your blog often, but I came over today and enjoyed the last few entries. Glad to hear of your happy Christmas in your new home. …a time for new ways of doing things. You mentioned your church…where are you going that they have communion every Sunday?

Gina~ I have that problem only when my seasoning has worn off my iron. Grease or butter your iron when it’s cold and bring up to heat; don’t wash it with soap or too hot of water when you’re done. If it’s dull looking and has no shine, it needs to be seasoned. cooking spray might work too but I havent’ tried it. Stuck waffles are a bummer!!

Beth~ We go to Covenanent Reformed Pres; part of the CREC which is fairly new. It’s more liturgical than the PCA and beleives in paedo-baptism and communion. We *love* it. There should be a link in my sidebar.
