Quote of the Week
Deceptive title it is. I don’t know if there will be a favorite quote of the week or not. Or just a random favorite. Or two in a week or once a month….but you get the idea.
And I don’t know why this particular quote struck me as so funny. Maybe it’s because I’m tired or that my skeptical-self gets weary of arguments that suggest history wasn’t manipulated or that much of God remains mystery. But I liked it and here it is:
“I figure creation took as long as it took.”

Thanks for quoting me, Tia. It’s an honor, and one that in the face of, I shall have to be mindful of the virtues of humility and vigilant that it doesn’t turn my pretty little head.
By the way, we recently acquired the domain ReligionAndSpirituality.com, which is a much better piece of internet real estate than what we have now. It is already increasing traffic our site (which is a bit tent for all espressions of belief and spirituality), and will mean more hits for the esteemed Julie Bogart, who is one of my favorite columnists on that site.
