I completely agree. I had a coldplay day myself recently; it might have been because I had just burned all of my boyfriend’s coldplay music onto my ipod. Additionally, Don’t Panic is most likely my favorite original Coldplay song. Til Kingdom Come is my favorite period, but they didn’t write it.
I’ve been listening to X+Y lately like a madman. I don’t listen to much popular music, so I’ve picked up ColdPlay as a late (bloomer?) listener. It’s great stuff.
It reminds me of where radiohead might be if they didn’t go off the deep end.
