Don’t miss this today…

Father Stephen’s blog…..

I knew from the painting, which held my attention for several minutes, that this was going to be a thought-provoking post….something to nestle in nooks and crannies of thought to be pondered more later. It’s a little igniter of a post…lots of trails to follow in the course of a day.

Which, incidentally, I wonder if that’s one way heaven and earth unite for me.  Contemplating the heavenly while going through otherwise mundane routines in a day: washing dishes, folding clothes, sweeping floors. A moment here and there to look at art that successfully has transcended my surroundings; all of it perhaps evidence of life that has been radically transformed by the eternal.

Good day, dear! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas. Been thinking of you a lot as we are really considering Tennessee as a potential landing spot, and Knoxville seems best because it’s still close! I found a great setup in Lancing which we’d love to buy. Anyway, we’re praying hard . . .I’ll send you more info later.

Just had to let you know that I’m listening to Ancient Faith Radio today thanks to this post . . .it’s beautiful music. I really enjoyed Father Stephens blog. It’s above my puny mind today, which is loaded with the need to dig out from under our Christmas STUFF and do basic cleaning in general. I enjoyed the momentary stretch, though!

Well, we’re thinking Knoxville because there’s a ProSource there. I think the house was on county road 220? Can’t remember now! And I can’t hunt it down online anywhere, either (hate it when that happens!) Anyway, I think R is saying Lancing might be too far, but there are SO many homes in the Knoxville vicinity . . .I want 2 acres or more, 2 stories or more, and 3000 sq ft or more, so we’ve got it narrowed down a smidge. Of course, I’m planning on winning an essay contest from Wells Fargo for $250 so we can do it for “free” ;-) I will totally keep you up to date; we are looking online every day.

    Love ya,
    Misty

    Tia,
The post from Misty reminded me that I am supposed to find out where you are living now. My stepdaughter and her husband and two of my grandchildren are doing exactly what you and David did. They are putting their house on the market here in Jax in March and are moving to Tenn. They have made several trips up around the Maryville area and have fallen in love. I told her how the “concrete jungle” was closing in on you and the children here in Jax. and about your Living Deliberately. They are so ready to take then plunge. You can e-mail with the info if you like. Thanks.
