My own six degrees of separation...I have a very good friend in my email group, he has been a part of it since he was 12 years old. He sort of grew up while the rest of the group mother hen-ed him to death. It just so happens that he was the youngest person to ever submit and have a puzzle be accepted to the NY Times Crossword puzzles. Wil Shortz himself wrote a letter to him when he accepted his first puzzle (after close to 20 prior submissions that were rejected)

It also happens that he is the US Crossword Champion right now and the one of the main subjects of the movie WordPlay (if you have never seen this, let me know I have it..it is such a great movie..and not just because my friend, Tyler is in it! )

I love the NY Times.

Ah, I love reading the newspaper in bed and I'd love to have a subscription to the Sunday NY Times!

I wrote my simple pleasure. You can find it here:

My simple pleasure today is going to the Farmer's Market and picking up raw milk. Two gallons come in under $10. And the rest of the week, I try to find excuses to drink milk, because it tastes that good.
