Celebrating

My friend and blog client Sheryl and I have a running game in our conversations…we say what we are celebrating today and follow the list with a “you?”. I thought I’d do today’s in public!

Celebrating Today:

  • Still living in “real air”. Thanks to shady trees, our valley, open windows, and fans, we have yet to hit the AC on. I LOVE real air and only capitulate to the fake stuff when it’s frigid or sweltering…and we ain’t there yet.
  • wading pools for little ones
  • a clean house
  • a stocked fridge and pantry, thanks to shopping last night
  • the cool new template I’m working on for Dr. Tray; love the space and organization of it!
  • summer dinners: crabcakes, artichokes, and new potatoes.

You?

*Leaving for Myrtle Beach in less than 24 hours sans kids and husband…time to clear the head. (yippee)

*All but one of my babies being with other friends tonight, which gives me the chance to spend special time with one of them, without feeling like I am showing favoritism.

*Dinner already made so I can just focus on a getting packed and watching old movies.

*Writing, from beginning to end, two complete website in XHTML codes with cascading style sheets that are W3C compliant without help. ProudProudProud of MeMeMe.

*Getting paid for one of said website. ;)

    Hey Tia….

I got something you might want to celebrate…if you want it…actually two things.

I have a bread maker that has been in my garage for two years. I keep saying I am going to pull it out again. Then I look at my hips and realize how badly I do not need to pull it out again. It would be best if someone made good use of it whose hips do not look like they have used a bread maker as oft as I did in the past…do you think that could be you?

Also I have the larger Little Tykes swimming pool (large enough for four small children to dance around in and small enough for a wee one not to get swollowed up in) that is too small for my brood any longer…it was about to make its way to the dump…and then I thought…hmmmm. Do you think you could make use of it?
