It was the book I read before a friend told me about Nourishing Traditions, which Jordan Rubin also used. Right now I'm reading "Restoring Your Digestive Health", also by Rubin and it stands out as the only written resource I've come across that suggests it's possible to live without long term meds with this disease. We also have a friend who is in a long-term remission; that gives such hope! (Drugs and their many side effects is a huge, scary aspect of this). We love The Maker’s Diet :-).
