My family is about to get Food Stamps and temporary welfare benefits because we can't pay the bills. We're self-employed, and we've seen this coming for a month or two now. But, we've been defeated emotionally, and that's only compounded the problem. Anyhow, work is picking up and within about three months we ought to be earning enough to pay the bills again. Once we reach that step, we're going to start the Total Money Makeover! I am soooo thankful for your posts about all this. Your story is so encouraging. Thank you for introducing me to Dave Ramsey.
