hello again Kevin :

I'd hope I was not the mouthpiece for an entire situation...and I do not intend to be now or in the future...I am actually in agreement with you on the "blogging" business...being online since nearly 1994 the only thing that creeps me out more than My Space places is,in fact, blogging...

I was not raised to it...it is as foreign to me as being on some TV show...or listening to the police scanner or some such...

I post generally on the old Usenet (which predates th emodern ideas of the commerical "internet" and a big equestrian forum or two,

otherwise, it just does not interest me what some one had for breakfast or thinks about a politican or the lastest "fad" thing to care about....I have enought to do on my own life daily...

I read this, as Tia's family and mine are intertwined somewhat...but in the end it (the whole concept of blogging and not LD itself) does seem somewhat ultra-exposing....and I just don't "get it"

I personally DON'T want any details about their business...I am MORE than happy to cover my ears and go the other way...carrying nothing by way of gossip and happy to only wish all of them the best, when all is said and done....

      best wishes

for: Tamara in TN

After reading through some of the earlier posts talking about "God, church & prayer" I would have thought something could have been worked out for the sake of the children. It was just the "We are getting a divorce" post sounded like someone in a candy store. The children were not even mentioned.

This is an example of how people read and intrepret things and how very misleading they can be. But your response explained everything, nothing else needs to be said.

why does Utopia always fail ?? surely there is more kindness in the world than to set Tia and her family up as the modelofallthings perfectlyhomeschooledrepublicanorganicfoodeatingconservativepoliticalcorrectness ???

if that word was hard to read, imigine who hard it would be to live out ??? Tia and her family remain my favorite hippies well except my baby sister who is also a red head....

Kevin, indeed the whole of the story is not told on a blog. The internet is just one part of the world of our time; anyone who takes it as a complete representation would be making a mistake. It's my hope that this site never fall into the category of "boasting egos and putting down others".

The only problem with the BLOG world, is it only gives one persons view of things. Only the blogger knows the truth. They alone can influence readers to make unfair and unjust statments that could harm innocent people if they so desire.

Yes, we should have freedom of speech but should we use it to boast our own egos and put down others? If blogging continues to go un-censored and anyone can say anything true or false, the world we now know and the trust will be lost forever. Our children and grandchildren will never know the peace and pleasure of believing a "man's word is his bond".

I for one think daily blogging takes away from the art of conversation and it takes away time that should be spent in the real everyday world with real people they can see, hear and feel.

I'm not judging. I happened upon this blogsite when I was seaching for something else, and it caught my attention. How did Living Deliberately go through a city-farm lifestyle, home schooling, simple saturday pleasures, Dave Ramsey debt free program, home renovations end up with divorce? What happened? Could it be, we only have half of the story.

I sure hope things go well with your children as they are so young to have to deal with all this. I will be praying for you and the other members of your family who must begrieving as well. I hope they can find the strength and encouragement in their world as you have found in yours.

I did not read it before it was pulled, but I cannot imagine anyone's judgement of anyone else at this point of life.

I think I would have found myself fairly incredulous and far less composed than you.

Blessings to you, to David and to the kids as each one of you will need it during this time....it will be hard on each of you.
