I once cried for five days when I got a botched hair cut and SOFT perm. I picked a picture of Sally Fields hairstyle that had nice soft curls, really just some nice body. I knew I was in trouble when as I was getting ready to leave the salon an older man walked in and said, (please use the red neckish drawl you can think of when you read this) "Wow, You look just like Dolly Parton." I really cried for five days. Finally my sweet hubby asked me if I got my joy from my hair. "You're darn right I do." The Bible says a womens' hair is her crown and glory. I have been going to the same girl for about 6 years and she always wants to put mousse, or gel and hairspray in my hair. Even after I tell her every time I don't like or use those products. I had to take some medicine that caused me to lose over fifty percent of my hair and the first time I went for a hair cut after it grew back, they botched it all up...I couldn't believe that I waited that long to have my hair back and they ruined the cut....oh well..like you said,,,hair does grow back and I am grateful for a least having hair now. : ) I can identify with your pain….when my hair isn’t right, I feel miserable..shallow, but there you have it.
